点评：This was our first time at the venue. For my wife and myself, the sheer number of rapidly flashing lights literally coming at you and your guests from EVERYWHERE and CONSTANTLY was enough to turn both our stomachs slightly, and though we stayed and enjoyed the comedy routine (especially the EMCEE) because the lights let up briefly, we simply had had enough of the lights when they promptly resumed. This is not just a light overhead or one or two here and there as we used to see at discos. These lights come at you from EVERY possible direction, are situated up top, on the sides, and you name it! Even if you do not get a headache as one person we spoke to said he got from the endless lights, it is distracting and unpleasant. It was also so noisy that we had difficulty chatting with friends over the incessant noise. We stayed for about 1.5 hours and decided we had had enough. Additionally, the parking is atrocious. We got a spot on the side as we arrived before the lot filled up, but then, the cars all park in one line right across from those parked properly making it a heck of a challenge to maneuver one's way out of the assigned spots without striking those cars improperly parked in front of you the length of the assigned spots area. The fact a tiny plastic cup of ginger ale costs $6.00, and drinks at least $16.00, we could handle that, but overall, we could NEVER return to this venue OR recommend it to ANY of our friends. It's too bad, but this place is in dire need of a make-over and a MAJOR reduction of the silly, oh-so-passe flashing lights which riddle the place. We will stick to places which permit one to enjoy the entertainment, have a drink, chat a bit with friends, and actually even relax a little. Club 54 does not allow for ANY of these other than for the overpriced drinks.
