点评：I stayed at the HS Hotsson Smart Leon Centro Max on a solo trip to explore Leon, Guanajuato in January 2025.
I can easily see why this is rated the best hotel in Leon. It's affordable and it does the basic things right. The room I stayed in was very spacious. Both my room and the hotel in general were very clean. The housekeeping staff is prompt and attentive. I didn't have any of the hotel food, but the restaurant looked nice. The fitness room is large and has some nice aerobic equipment. Weights are a little dated but otherwise the gym is much more functional than others I've used in higher end properties.
I don't recall having a problem with the WiFi. Water pressure was good in the ginormous bathroom, I got hot water whenever I wanted it.
The property is adjacent to a medium sized mall with an extensive food court. There's also a McDonald's, Starbucks, and a very large Walmart type store within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The only drawback is that it is not right near the historical center of the city. It's about a 45 minute walk but doable if you're motivated.
I'd definitely stay again if I'm in Leon.
