点评：Disappointing Experience at Bamboo Café & Smoothies
We visited Bamboo Café & Smoothies yesterday, and while the location offered a lovely view, our overall experience was disappointing. The fruit with granola and yogurt was enjoyable, and the banana peanut butter smoothie was pretty good. However, the waffles were just okay, and the omelette didn’t impress.
The major issue was with the mango smoothie, which tasted like thin juice with ice and didn’t seem to contain real mango. What really soured our visit was the dishonest service. The staff added a tip without showing us the bill, and we ended up paying $60 for what felt like overpriced and underwhelming food compared to other brunch spots in Puerto Aventuras.
To make matters worse, we also purchased a $30 hat from the café, which we didn’t realize would be included in the total bill when the tip was added. This meant we inadvertently tipped on the price of the hat as well, bringing our combined bill to $90. This felt like a significant overcharge, especially considering the quality of the food and service.
Given the high cost and lack of transparency, we felt ripped off. While the setting is pleasant, the service issues and food quality concerns mean we won’t be returning
