点评：Went on a couples dinner in connection with our anniversary in 2024. Was a surprise to my wife (we have a house nearby and I had told her I was gonna cook for her in the forest, so we were appropriately dressed for that, NOT for a Michelin dinner 😀). Head chef and owner greeted us outside the restaurant wearing matching boots also with mud on, and helped surprise my wife in the best possible way.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is one-of-a-kind warm, welcoming and relaxed. Their cooking craft over live fire is more than impressive and really makes this place stand out in comparison with other restaurants in the same league that we have visited. We are not rich but like to save up for special dining experiences like this every once in a while, and this is hands down the best Michelin restaurant experience we’ve had, including NOMA in Copenhagen (although that is really difficult to compete with).
Food is excellent, every dish is a surprising new experience and in a theme of its own. It is obvious that the staff loves working here, full of smiles, charm and not too stressed (which has been seen elsewhere). This adds a lot to the overall experience and makes you feel incredibly comfortable as a guest. Price is more than fair for what you get. This place is well worth the traveling from I.e. Copenhagen and way more of an experience than dining there! Strongest recommendations from here. We’ll be back once we,’ve saved up again! And this time we will NOT be driving and make sure to taste the smoked gin & tonic which we were really envious to see our “neighbors” try out 😀.
