Standard Wigwams + kayaking session review
Whitewave Skye's Outdoor Centre的点评
点评：We stayed in one of the Standard Wigwams for one night. Unlike some of the other wigwams, the Standard ones only have basic amenities (camp-style beds, fridge, electric heater, table) and we used the shared showers, toilet and kitchen. We had to pay extra for a pack of bed sheets and towels.
The parking spot next to each individual wigwam is handy and there is a fire pit in front of each wigwam, which was a lot of fun (you can buy a bag of wood logs for £7).
The kitchen was fairly well equipped, however the hobs are induction hobs and some of the pots in the kitchen were not adapted for induction.
The shared toilet and showers could have been cleaner and better maintained (the showers didn't drain properly).
The area is beautiful and quiet. The camp-beds were comfortable and we slept well. However, overall, the Standard Wigwams weren't good value for money in our opinion.
Our biggest disappointment, however, is that we had booked a kayaking session for the morning a few months prior to our visit and, upon arrival, we found out that the booking had been forgotten and no one had told us the instructor was no longer available and the session was cancelled. We would have appreciated more notice and consideration.
