点评：Having holidayed in the magnificent Beara Peninsula for the last 25 years it was such a bonus to discover the Beara Barista on Ballydonegan Beach down the road from Alihies. My friends and I were welcomed by the very friendly Gaia, Alice and Josie . They were working from a smallish food van but what they produced was absolutely top class. My friends assured me the coffee was as good as it gets, 10 out of 10.
The menu is pretty extensive, from Hummus or Hallumi Wraps to Vegan Burgers or for those who spent too long in O’Neills or McCarthys Bar the night before you can recover with a Beara Belt , Bacon, Egg , Lettuce and Tomato , my friend Dan described it as ‘Tasty beyond Delicious’. For those with a sweet tooth or for kids the Waffles are to die for with plenty of ice cream and chocolate.
This is definitely worth a detour for if you are on the Beara Peninsula especially if you are near Allihies.
