点评：I’m sad to write this review as we had such a different experience last year and I do not like giving bad reviews. However, I feel a heads-up should be noted in this situation. We brought our friends to Isla Burger and had been raving about the food to them for days leading up to going. My partner and I ordered the Isla Double Burger as we did last time we were there to share. We also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries. Last year we were asked if we wanted those as the appetizer or to replace the homemade chips that come with the burger. We chose the appetizer size. This time we were not asked and didn’t think to specify since nothing was asked (that’s on us). When we got our meal, our “Double” burger ended up being about the size of a thin hockey puck x2. It literally didn’t even cover 1/2 of the bun. When we questioned it we were told “Oh no, it’s not 2 patties…it’s the 1 patty split into 2 patties.” UmmmmWhaaat?? Why would we buy the most expensive burger on the menu only to get the same amount of meat as any of the others?? Makes zero sense. We also only got a handful of the fries on the side of the plate… with a 50 peso up charge (not a big deal had we been told this up front or asked if we wanted the appetizer size or the upgrade from the homemade chips.) Very disappointing because honestly not only were we so excited about eating there but also had hyped it up to our friends. The taste is still great…but my advise is, be sure you question what you want to order before you order!
