点评：I stopped by Sonora Prime in the Hilton Hotel Reforma last Monday around 8 PM with two friends, and even though we weren’t starving, we decided to treat ourselves. We started with a Dirty Martini, a Cosmopolitan, and a glass of wine. The Cosmo was flawless immediately, but the Dirty Martini took a few tries before it finally hit that perfect salty-olive note on the third round. At least they were determined to get it right!
For our main course, we ordered the tomahawk steak to share between us. It was carved tableside with just the right amount of showmanship and cooked exactly how we asked, juicy and flavorful. We paired it with sides of spinach, mashed potatoes, and French truffle fries. Those truffle fries could have disappeared in record time if we hadn’t been pacing ourselves.
The meal was excellent, and the service team cared for us from start to finish. If you’re in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak in a sleek, comfortable setting, Sonora Prime is worth a visit—just be sure to taste-test that martini until it’s exactly how you like it.
