Disappointing Experience at Estoril – Good Food, Miserable Service

点评：I have visited Estoril for many years and it used to be an outstanding restaurant, known for both its excellent food and impeccable service. Sadly, that is no longer the case, and there were very few tables, not crowded at all...
While the food remains good — not extraordinary or memorable, simply good — the service has deteriorated to a truly miserable level.
We waited 45 minutes for our appetizers after placing the order, meaning we received them an hour after arriving.
When it came to the main courses, there were three of us at the table. They made a mistake with one of the dishes, so two of us had to wait for the third plate to be corrected, which took an additional 15 minutes — and it arrived without the side dishes.
To make matters worse, when the sides finally came, they were not what was originally promised. The waiter claimed that by ordering grilled vegetables instead of steamed, we “forfeited” the potatoes that were supposed to be part of the original dish — something that was never explained to us when ordering.
Throughout this frustrating experience, the captain never once approached our table to offer an apology or explanation.
In conclusion, miserable service, just good (not great) food, and high prices for a standard of service that should be much, much better.
