amazing whale shark tour combined with sea lions colony at Espiritu Santo Island
Whale Shark Diaries的点评
点评：It was an unforgettable experience for us to swim with the whale sharks, snorkel with the sea lions and observe the underwater world of corals. We felt safe, well informed and well guided at all times.
The meeting point in the morning was easy to find and the welcome was warm. There were 8 tourists on the boat, 5 of them were divers. During the boat trip to the whale shark area, we received all the necessary information from the friendly crew. Then we went into the water a few times in small groups at a suitable distance from the whale shark. Taking photos in the plankton soup is quite difficult, but the GoPro films turned out quite good. A few screenshots are attached.
On the way to the sea lion colony we saw dolphins and manta rays. Snorkelling with the sea lions was a great experience. The curious little ones were very cute!
And on the way back we stopped at a coral reef. The lunch here offered by the crew was good. We were back at the pier at around 2.00 pm.
By the way, there is an ice cream shop ‘La fuente’ just opposite of the pier, which we can highly recommend to replenish the calories you've burnt!
