Its garden is a fragrant oasis, filled with roses and lavender — the perfect setting for moments of relaxation.
The food is outstanding — don’t miss the soups, whether it’s the chicken soup with homemade noodles, the traditional Transylvanian sour soup, or the potato soup with tarragon. The "garnitza" meat or the tender brisket are equally unforgettable — each dish will make your taste buds weep with joy and perform a majestic symphony on your palate.
The staff is exceptionally kind — from the lovely kitchen ladies and the sweet reception and service girls, to Mr. Dan Horvat, the manager, a perfect host who ensures everything runs flawlessly.
A warm, authentic, and memorable experience — Casa Kraus is more than just accommodation; it’s a place that tells its own stories and those of others, being itself a tale worth living.
P.S. On a cool evening, we tried the lemon sorbet with candied ginger, lightly dusted with dragon fruit.
