Incredibly rude tour guide
Argyle Waterfall的点评
点评：Absolutely terrible attitude and unprofessionalism from Gail, the tour guide for our visit to Argyle Waterfall.
Gail was extremely hostile towards our group as soon as we arrived, for some reason we did not understand. We attempted to exchange pleasantries - asking her name and how she was doing, to which she gave very cold responses. We actually did not realize she was our tour guide to begin with as she would not even make eye contact or speak to us.
We eventually found out that she was upset because we were 'late' (by 15 minutes) for our tour - which we had no idea there was a set time for, as the tour was arranged through our hotel as part of a whole day tour of the island. We had no control over the time we arrived, and when trying to explain this and diffuse the situation she became incredibly argumentative.
We offered to do the walk alone rather than with her as our tour guide, but she said she could not allow that as she needed to be with us for safety in case anything happened to us - but she spent the whole walk storming ahead of us, barely saying a word, and sitting far away from us whilst we were in the deep water, so she certainly was not caring for or ensuring our safety, let alone notice if anything did happen.
(The waterfall however was beautiful - shame Gail had to ruin our experience)
