The Residence Restaurant & Bar的点评
点评：I highly not recommend reserving a space in this establishment. I spent weeks preparing my 40th birthday party with my closest friends and family I had not seen in years. I booked in advance and met with the manager,Mr.Keigan ,a few days before to pay. I had selected their “VVIP package” (with two V’s) that included a private space with security and hostess and we agreed on a priice for 20 guests. $7000. I was shown the space which was perfect for the event. When the party was due to start and I arrived with my guests, we were shocked to see that the space we were expecting was actually divided in 4 sections to accommodate 4 groups, divided by a little rope. The space was very tight, and made everyone feel like goats. The staff realized the inconvenience and we asked the manager to move us to a bit bigger “cubicle” to limit the inconvenience but without luck. There was no “we are sorry” nor any interest in providing a good experience. On the good side, the manager agreed to reimburse me but he kind of did ruin my 40th birthday celebration. I am unsure if either their customer service practice are sub-par for an upscale place, or my group - diverse and inclusive - was discriminated against, but in any case I would recommend to not trust this establishment for your event needs.
