点评:Avoid Da Waterhole at Mullet Bay
I’ve always loved visiting Mullet Bay — it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in St. Martin. But my recent experience at Da Waterhole was incredibly disappointing and frankly, upsetting.
I paid $10 for a wristband that was supposed to give me WiFi access and use of the bathroom. After just a couple of hours, the WiFi was cut off. When I brought it to their attention, I was brushed off with an excuse about a "server issue." No accountability, no solution, just indifference.
But what really stuck with me was how I was treated. I was spoken to with complete disregard and made to feel unwelcome. Based on what I witnessed and experienced, I truly believe the poor service I received was racially motivated. If I had been white, I don’t believe I would have been treated the same way. That kind of behavior has no place in hospitality — or anywhere.
I urge travelers not to support this business. Instead, head over to Rosie’s nearby — the food is excellent, and the people there are warm, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. They treat you like family, no matter where you’re from or what you look like.
Mullet Bay is worth visiting — just be careful where you spend your money
Da Waterhole
Mullet Bay
