点评：The. A. T good: the coffee was excellent. Really good. And Beneights just delicious. I was licking the powdered suger off of each one like a kid in a candy factory. I never do that. And the texture, just wonderful.
The bad: a very small place. An old gas station turned into a garage. Lots of picnic table out door seating, nice a shaded and a breeze from some sort of cooler or fans. And some of the long metal tables were just filled with people. Maybe 12 people per long table. I like a more intimate type dining experience.
So you go in, find inside jammed and order. Drinks from here. water from there, carry them out and place on table, leaving credit card with someone at a counter. If you get a cocktail, still another counter. Weave through tables and lines of people to door to outside. Set whatever down, leave that outside and go back inside to order your food. Back outside. So anyone can go up to your food and well---I don't know. Noting happened to anything of ours, but it does make you think.
Now do not get me wrong, the food is good. Just not very seasoned and Cajun good IS seasoned. The was more just good food, but not great and more Americanized (if you will)
We did get Bloody Marys and they were the best I have ever had. Delicious. with a celery stick and 2 pickled okra, 2 large olives and 2 okra. Just great. And we all agreed best ever. So we will be back on occasion, but not for the food. If we lived closer we might occasionally go but for us a 45 minute drive so to me good only if you live in the neighborhood. But just too far considering traffic and lights and just out of the way and not near anything else we might go to.
Also I do like service and to us, I would not call it service having to ge in and out, carry your own food, etc. But again, good if you live in that neighborhood.
We will go back for coffee and beneigts some time, but will go elsewhere for lunch.
Also, the parking lot was full, small area so we had to park at shopping center next doo. And it was just 11 a.m. In Marilyns lot, there was small stones (not gravel) making up the area where we had to walk to our car. I had a hard time navegating that.
