点评:We didn’t know there was an Aruba Restaurant Week, let alone that it corresponded with our trip. So glad it popped up and we chose to dîne. It was a Thursday evening. Beautiful large patio but we chose a comfy hi-top for 2 inside. Cute decorations, nice looking bar and the friendliest staff! (Thank you Christian, Lua (sorry about the spelling) and all the rest!)
From the very affordable 3-course Restaurant Week menu, I had the octopus carpaccio with coconut shrimp (that sadly does not appear at all on the regular menu), followed by the grouper with « rosé » shrimp (raspberry and ginger glaze) and finished with the coffee crème brûlée. All 3 were full portions so I shared with my husband, who also had a 1/2 slab of spare ribs with Aruban spicy sauce (flavorful — not blow your mouth away heat). Some wine and water to drink. Prices in Afl and charged at the prevailing rates made it such a value. There were so many other things on the menu that tempted us but we have to save them for a return visit. Totally recommend going here when you’re in the high rise hotel area. Large menu makes it good for picky eaters, groups, maybe a really hungry singleton diner.
