点评：Went on July 4, 2025. Walked from the Renaissance - beautiful night - felt extremely safe.
We were so excited to try - had heard all the great stuff. Walked in - our kinda place - old school, dated, great vibe - felt local.
Place was 1/2 full at 8:30pm - we had made reservations weeks ago, but no one asked. We were seated immediately. Employees everywhere - had a hustling feel - seemed great.
My wife ordered wine and I got an expresso martini - and they brought out hot bread that was buttered and garlic’d - good - but very pedestrian. Expresso martini was decent.
The fresh catch of the day was mahi. I asked the waitress if the shrimp cocktail was local shrimp - she said yes.
We got shrimp cocktail, onion soup (French onion soup), side salad with Russian dressing, and the mahi done Aruban style. We were excited.
The service was great - friendly, warm, attentive but not over the top - there were a lot of employees present.
The shrimp cocktail, soup, and salad came out quickly. The soup was hot and had decent flavor - done like a French onion soup. The salad was cold and decent - Russian dressing was good.
This is where the good things about the food stop. The shrimp cocktail was not local. You could taste the freezer they had been stored in. It was not good.
The mahi was not fresh caught and was thin and dry and had absolutely no flavor. The Aruban preparation was a side ramekin of thin tomato liquid with some diced onion.
This was institutional food at best. Could not believe it. The server asked how our meal was at the end - I shrugged and said not very good She smiled and went to get our check.
It was $95US and we would have gladly paid double that for great local food. So, so disappointed.
West Deck is BY FAR a better local spot.
This was bad nursing home food but with friendly folks in a cool environment. Wasted a precious night out in for supper in one of our favorite countries in the world. Boooooooooooo …….

食物的优点也就到此为止了。虾仁鸡尾酒不是本地产的。你能尝到它们储存在冰箱里的味道。味道不好。
鲯鳅鱼不是新鲜捕捞的，又薄又干，完全没有味道。阿鲁巴菜的做法是一小碗稀薄的番茄汁和一些洋葱丁。
这充其量只是普通的机构餐。简直不敢相信。服务员最后问我们吃得怎么样——我耸了耸肩说不太好。她笑了笑，去结账了。
价格是95美元，为了美味的当地美食，我们很乐意付双倍的价格。所以，非常失望。

养老院的饭菜很差劲，但环境很凉爽，工作人员很友好。在我们最喜欢的国家之一，浪费了一个宝贵的晚餐之夜。太糟糕了……
