点评：My husband and I visited during our holiday to Anguilla to celebrate his 50th birthday. Our experience was not pleasant. In reading other rave reviews, I wonder if we were dining in the same restaurant.
There is no warmth in the service. The owner spent less than five minutes at our table. She and the other servers never introduced themselves by name. While we appreciate everyone’s unique personalities, this level of cold indifference was surprising given the warm receptions and genuine interactions we’ve experienced in other restaurants on the island.
The food was completely disappointing. Our meals were bland, made with poor quality ingredients and were not well executed. I ordered the grilled wahoo with creamy avocado, basil and capers. The fish was tasteless, not at all seasoned. The avocado was reminiscent of store bought, cellophane bagged guacamole.
My husband ordered filet of beef. What was served were two thin slices of steak, both overcooked, in a bland sauce. The potato gratin had the consistency of glue.
When we complained, the owner removed our main courses from the final bill. We appreciated this gesture however the lackluster food and cold, aloof service made for a dismal dining experience that we won’t repeat.
