点评:We have been coming for years and years and have enjoyed watching the transition from a simple local restaurant with no roof to the smart and popular place it is today. But the changes over time, due to its undoubted past success with offerings of fabulous numbers and styles of meze and fresh main courses have now gone. . We used to enjoy a reasonably priced meal with a super variety of meze and tonight we had six beige boring little Dishes … some obviously bought in. Where is the vibrancy? The fresh produce? And the colour? The freshness? . And where was the staple caçık? It was really poor and we actually didn’t eat it. . And the prices have shot up. No issue there in regard to rising prices everywhere but over £20 for a steak and £10 for a simple pasta in tomato sauce? London prices for a an inferior meal. We had a salad dripping with a sweet prepared French style dressing. Not Cypriot. No pitta or herby butter as before . It was half full in on a Friday night when it should have been heaving so maybe that says something. I wish they would wise up and go back to how they were before. We were planning to bring a big party of first time guests to Bellapais and N Cyprus here next week. But not now. Really sad. The change of leadership is clear. Maximise profits and reduce the offering. Sadly will not be coming back. The waitress , however, was superb.
