点评：We had the Kaede lunch at the counter yesterday.
The chef was absolutely amazing ! I regret not checking his name. He looked like he was dancing when preparing our sushi and other dishes, and everything tasted very good. This place has the perfect traditional and luxurious taste that only the expert chefs can make. My husband was sad that we went there on our last day before taking the plane back home. If we had known, he would have eaten here every day once during our trip ! The chef was also able to speak a little bit of English to explain each sushi !
Unfortunately, the service was not as good as the food and the chef. The place looked empty, but I think there was a big business meeting in one of the private rooms, leaving us with no waiter overlooking our meal. We had ordered a bottle of sake for 4 people, and with the Kaede lunch, the waiters should have refilled our glasses at least 3 or 4 times, but every time, the chef had to call the waiters for them to come and take away our empty plates. The chef was alone at the counter (for us 4, 2 ladies next to us and later another group of 4 !) and was preparing every food at the speed of light. He was a real MVP ! It's too bad that there was no waiter in a corner of the room overlooking our meal and refilling our glasses, otherwise, we could have given Hana goyomi 5 stars.
