点评：The worst food I can recall ever being offered in a restaurant. And a restaurant with the most beautiful gorgeous inspiring scenery, and a good wine cellar. The bottle we chose was so good that we drank two to make up for the food.
2 of us first ordered the Ravioli Funghi. It was an enormous plate of pasta that all of us shared, but could not finish. The ravioli was seriously undercooked, very chewy.
Each of us then ordered a separate meat dish, Lamb, Veal, Pork and the Mixed Grill. There was only one other Secondi dish on the menu that we saw, the "Rolls". (Were we obvious tourists by any chance and offered a separate menu?) The Veal arrived first and was a large thin beef T-bone, dried out on the grill and almost inedible. Served on a cheap metal plate with a wedge of lemon. The Mixed Grill and 4 Lamb chops equally unappetising in appearance and over-cooked dryness. The pork had bits of slimy chopped mushroom which one must assume came out of a tin. No way were they fresh funghi. There was a jus with the pork. The Green salad was just lettuce with a bland dressing, perhaps also out of a bottle as there were no hints of delicious Italian oil or Balsamic. On the Contorni menu there were only 2 salads and Patate Fritte. (We turned down the Mixed as it was carrot the waitress said). No vegetables. No tomato to be seen. Weird to the point of insult.
