Kings Mill Restaurant的点评
点评：I had my lunch here on Thursday the 15th of May.
It is a beautiful looking restaurant and setting.
Unfortunately there were quite a few faults though.
It was a gorgeous day when I came here, I wanted to sit outside but strangely none of the seating had a view of the river so I sat inside.
If I owned this restaurant I would have the seating next to the river where the car park is.
The menu was all over the place.
There was a sheet at the front of the menu which was almost identical to the contents on the inside of the menu, this was confusing and seemed unnecessary.
Also the chicken parmigiana was almost €10 dearer than any other item on the menu & at €27 this seemed expensive.
The waitress was friendly but not attentive enough.
She also never explained the specials or the soups.
I ordered the chicken & truffle rigatoni, it was very tasty but it was a small portion in fairness.
I actually wanted to order another dish as I was still hungry but I could not get the waitresses attention.
There was no ice on this day too which was disappointing because it was the hottest day of the year.
This restaurant could be absolutely amazing, it is a shame it is not reaching its full potential.
I hope the owners won't take my review too harshly, I am trying to give constructive criticism.
I believe my score is fair & I wouldn't rule out returning if I am in the area again.
