点评：We try to visit local restaurants and bars on the islands we can. In regard to Cat Island, most of the ones with lots of reviews and showing on our marine charts were not that great and fairly expensive for what you get.
We noticed this little place just south of the police station where we beached our dinghy. At first we thought it was closed, but as we walked by we saw it was open.
We returned about 3pm for drinks and dinner. The owner was so gracious and friendly. The place was filled with locals. This is not a tourist destination.
The food was awesome, the drinks were strong pours, and the beer was cold. We had 1 and a half meals (chicken and split a conch with friends), 2 rum and cokes and 4 beers. We paid $50 including the $7 dollar tip. The spicy potato salad was to die for.
We have some weather coming in on us, but will be going back as soon as we can launch the dinghy. They do monitor ch 16 for radio calls. It is best to call ahead as they do run out of food.
