A no frills hotel with a great view and wonderful staff

点评：Starting off with what is wonderful about this place: the view is amazing. Victor (the manager?) is so kind and attentive. The rooms were large and clean. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner delivered to us in the garden outside of our room, overlooking the lake. Cold beers before dinner and a bonfire to close out the night. Hot water in showers, decent water pressure, and huge towels. Lots of privacy, as we had the entire property to ourselves.
Sadly, this place has surely seen better days, and could again with an infusion of TLC. It is a bit shabby and dated. Mattress and pillows were very firm. Electricity was hit or miss. We ordered their last bottle of water and we had to walk down the road to gas station to buy more. I think they only one kind of soda in stock - ? Luckily, once they realized we were beer drinkers, they kept fridge stocked.
As long as you manage your expectations and understand that the pictures you will see on the internet are from another time, you will be fine.
