点评：Ok, we drove by and we’re intrigued by the boast atop the restaurant. It claimed they made BC’s top burger.
Ok, so we both ambled up to the kiosk, outside dining only which was fine. The lady at the till was kind and full of good humour, a delight which earns them a further 1/2 star.
Reading the menu, the burger claimed to feature their own 97 sauce which sealed the deal and we both ordered the burger, she with fries, myself, with onion rings and a large milk.
Our meal came to 39.00 and change which is a tad on the egregious side for a couple of burgers but ok, BC’s BEST burger has gotta be worth it.
The bad:
The 97 sauce was mayo and mustard mixed or some such simple concoction. No depth and hardly worth crowing about.
The good:
The rest of the burger was very good indeed, a smash burger of a 1/3 pound on a toasted brioche roll, with fresh tomato and lettuce. It was a very good burger but it could have been a stellar burger with a sauce that merited both the crowing and the price. Sadly it did not so, at the end of the day, if you’re driving by and you’ve a hankering for a decent burger and don’t mind paying a bit more then stop in and enjoy. The folks are nice and the burger ain’t bad, it just isn’t BC’s best.
