点评：In our group of six there were two of who were celebrating our birthdays today at Vernon's. We have gone there many times for special occasions and always had a good experience...today was completely different.... We arrived at 9:30 am had to wait for a half an hour or more before anyone came to ask us if we wanted a coffee.... waited a while before that even arrived. Having been there so many times for breakfast we knew what was on the menu, so we didn't need to look and told the waitress what we wanted. About 45 minutes or so some of the food came, then about 15 min. more came except mine...I was still waiting for mine when the rest of my friends were just about finished...their food was not hot but was warm...as if it had been sitting for awhile before being brought out. When they finally brought mine out we had been there for at least 2 or more hours...I will say that my food was hot. It was told to us that the reason it took so long to get our food was that there were so many different orders from out table....Here is what we ordered 3 of our group ordered 2 poached eggs and an English muffin, 1 ordered the thunderbird skillet, 2 ordered the cheese omelet . The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived so I don't understand why it took someone so long to wait on us. As you can imagine from this review our group has decided not to go there again...
