点评:Very very very disappointing Puerto Banus after 8 years
On Tuesday night we were excited to go to our favourite Indian restaurant in Puerto Banus as it had been closed for refurbishment in the new year we knew a lot of staff were leaving and one of the chef’s retiring but we were assured that the new chef would be trained in Bradford to the same standard and all would be the same apart from the decor. Well when we went on Tuesday the new restaurant looked great but the menu had completely changed and gone up a lot in price which isn’t a problem we thought if it was as good but it was dreadful !!!
The staff were pleasant but the food the normal pompadoms tasted like they had come from a pre made packet not the lovely ones previously then we-ordered onion bhajis that were awful uncooked in the middle and tasted like paxo stuffing mix and my husband had a garlic nan half the size as normal and dry no butter,then I had a chicken curry that tasted like an Italian tomatoes sauce with chicken skin and under cooked chicken my husband had a chicken jalfrazi which was also terrible chicken and bland no spice in anything we were told that they tone down flavours for the European palate but surely Indian food is Indian food terrible end to an 8 year wonderful restaurant for us
So very sad but at least you will get the passing trade just not the regulars
