Synge and Byrne Kilbroney Forest Park的点评
点评：Had coffee and lunch at this cafe on a recent visit to Kilbroney Forest Park.
The coffee was good when we eventually got to the front of the queue but be careful where you sit on the terrace - we found ourselves directly outside the open window of the toilets complete with sound effects!
Lunch was a disaster. The cafe was very busy but we managed to secure a table inside as it was now raining. Eventually a sulky young man came to clear it and give it a very minimal wipe over. There was food on and under the chairs. We had requested some tap water to drink and this was dumped on the table in warm glasses.
There wasn't a great deal of choice of food and a lot of it was expensive - you can't have a quiche or sausage roll unless it is part of a meal with odd looking salads which I believe cost around £11! We opted for soup of the day which was courgette. When it arrived after quite some time, it was barely warm and extremely salty but we decided not to complain as we needed to leave soon. The sourdough bread was actually very good!
We will take a picnic on any further visits.
