点评：We arrived last night to a beautiful villa 30-40 mins West fo Chaniá after a long journey and little sleep. Having looked at the area before travelling, we knew that Kondomarí (Κοντομαρί) was 10-15 mins walk from us and this restaurant was there.
It was easy to find and we were welcomed gently. Being very tired, we appreciated this. It was evening, just after sunset. The setting area was so lovely in this light.
The bread was extremely fresh and olive oil perfect. Starters came quickly. We got a bit overenthusiastic with the starter order but enjoyed everything. Traditional sliced sausage with a sweet dip, beef
Slow cooked beef and orzo and tomato sauce, chicken thigh on the bone with home made pasta, baked potato and veg pie with cheese. All was delicious and home cooked. They then brought some lovely honey and along desert with ice cream and honey for sharing and a little ouzo.
If this is a small village restaurant that you can find on Google maps and doesn't appear on standard guides, then there is no justice. They deserve publicity. If you are in this area, please try this place.
We were so delighted, we plan to go back two or three times during this holiday. So lovely. Well done.
