马约里斯奥拉全包式酒店的点评
点评：To start with, the hotel grounds are lovely, and well maintained. Yes, the local area is quiet, but it is beautiful. 10 minutes left out of the hotel there's a huge supermarket, or go 20 minutes straight on and you get to the sea in a gorgeous hidden gem of a cove.
The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. I had been worried following past reviews re: noise, especially as the room was right above the bar area, however I couldn't hear a thing, and slept really well throughout my stay, My only complaint with the room would be that the air con could've been a bit more powerful, to help keep the room a bit cooler.
However, to move onto the downsides, the food was really disappointing. Food was commonly uncooked inside when cut into. Furthermore, the labelling of food was so regularly missing or incorrect - to the point I once saw the ice cream labelled as jacket potatoes! I once tried to ask one of the chefs a question about the ingredients of one of the dishes he was cooking and he simply shrugged and walked away. That said, the waiting staff were very friends and keen to help at all times.
My only other real negative is that the pool, or at least the smaller, lower section of the main pool, was really dirty, with various things floating about in it at all times. Not sure if it maybe needs better/updated filters?
Ultimately for me, I don't see myself returning to this hotel, largely due to the issues with the food. There's definitely potential for the hotel, but as it stands it is undoubtably a 3 star.
