点评：El Canuelo is truly a hidden gem in the lovely Axarquia countryside. It was our home away from home for a week long walking tour of Southern Spain and the accommodation is comfortable and peaceful. Every morning waking up you are treated to gorgeous views and birdsong. Nights were pleasant and cool. We had the opportunity to experience the AMAZING cuisine and service from Manolo and his lovely wife Anna who made the most delicious Spanish cuisine. Salads with fresh tomatoes, oranges, dried fruit/nuts, Spanish omelette, eggplant with honey, chicken wings, pork, shrimp with garlic/olive oil, curry vegetables, stir fry vegetables. If you’re a vegetarian you will be happy. The staff is so kind-‘and accommodating. Get a massage if you have the opportunity. For those who expect the 5 star Marriott this place will not be for you. But if you’re looking for a peaceful beautiful landscape, access to great walking, great food and peace and quiet, this place is amazing. I’m a little sad this is our last day.
