点评:We’d visited this place before and the lunch we had was good. On the back of that we decided a few days later to have dinner.
We ordered, the waitress confirmed what we had ordered (which was correct) however when the meal arrived only three plates were put down despite there being four of us.
I waited patiently. Food came out for other patrons, I waited more and queried the waitress who advised it was just coming. I waited more. More food for other tables came out. I asked the waitress again, it’s just coming.
By this point all other members of my family had finished, I’d told them to.
25 mins had past, still no food. I asked the waitress to cancel my order and just bring a plate of fried potatoes.
I ate the remains of my sons dinner.
35 mins past by the time a plate came out with the original order, by then I didn’t want it. Got the bill and left.
Staff were apologetic, however it didn’t make up for the poor service.
To the staff. It doesn’t matter how good the food is, the service has to match. Don’t blame each other, you are a team that work together.
When the mistake is discovered, you work as quickly and honestly to recover from it.
On realisation that the order was short the chef should be asked to make the new one straight away and be the next thing he makes, not just adding an new order into the kitchen.
Won’t be going back, food was nice enough, service let them down.
