Limited English spoken, but trustworthy company who go the extra mile

点评：This company really looked after me, despite having limited English. Im a solo female traveller, well used to getting around Turkiye, and am always cautious. You are in safe hands here, in fact, they went that extra mile! Rockik did me a deal for 3 trips. My holiday had been ruined by illness and I wanted something non-strenuous for the last 3 days and that would allow me to enjoy some of the spectacular scenery.
I chose a medusa boat trip, the extreme safari and a night safari. Day 1, I was told theyd upgraded my trip to VIP. I laughed, thinking something was lost in translation. However, I was chauffer driven in a red convertible to Kemer marina! Got aboard and it was clearly family orientated, with a parrot aboard, a photographer snapping fun photos etc. I sat in a corner, relaxed and enjoyed the gorgeous coastal scenery. There were swimming/snorkel stops, but I was too weary to join. The music was very loud - this is a "party boat" and the kids enjoyed the crazy foam event on the way back. I was collected snd driven back by a guy who told me he was the captain of Medusa Boats.
Day 2. Extreme Jeep Safari trip. This was fabulous. Was picked up with 2 other English women and we briefly stopped at a service station as a central pick up point/ticket check and then began the drive. We went so high up into the mountains, stopping at different points to take pics, have a break. There was an optional cave trip for a few lira which I chose not to do. We ended up at a ginormous ancient tree, and ate at a restaurant on the way back. The food was mediocre here. I really enjoyed this trip but as always wished for longer at the stops.
Day 3. Night safari. I wish I'd not booked this one, simply because we went to what seemed to be the most gorgeous area and I couldnt see the scenery as it was pitch black on the way back. I was also very frustrated not to be able to get into Olympia, we could get to the harbour ticket office but there was no time to explore. Very frustrating. I think they should start the tour at 2pm, charge more and include 2hrs at the site so you could explore, however, the coast was lovely. I will go back. The Chimera was fascintating with flames coming out of the earth, the walk up was about 20 mins and you need to be reasonably fit. We were driven to a restaurant with eating areas suspended over a river with ducks quacking around you, lit up at night. The food here was lovely.
All in all, the trips/pick ups were well organised. I was driven back to my hotel each time and despite the langusge barrier, the gentlemen at Maxwell tours, Kiris were honest, professional and courteous. I'm grateful as at least I got to enjoy a bit of my holiday on their trips which made up for being so poorly.
