点评：Made a solo visit to Pax Guest House for some much needed R&R from July 22-24. Here is a summarised version of my stay.
Service: service was excellent. Oda was a gem and very accommodating. Upon my arrival, I received a welcome drink, which was unexpected. Oda and her husband also made very pleasant conversation and were both very polite.
Accommodation: please keep in mind that this is a historic building, so don't expect very modern amenities and conveniences. That being said, I personally loved the architecture and the old feel. I was very excited to see some of the old furniture, and artwork, which added character to the hotel. I stayed in a superior room with it's own bathroom. The room was comfortable. The bathroom and bed were small, but it worked well for me. The air conditioner worked VERY well, so much so, that I had to double up on sheets, so I suggest using just the fan. O would suggest that you bring blankets with you, if you get cold easily. Also, there isn't a television in the room, so if you need stimulation, bring a book or tablet. There is wifi.The hotel was very clean and tidy. The porch area and outdoor seating behind the dining area were a treat. Be sure to sit and observe the hummingbirds.
Food: Breakfast is included and although it was simple, it was very tasty. I enjoyed the variety of teas available.
The hotel is a stone's throw away from the church, which has a peaceful atmosphere in itself. There is also outdoor seating near the parking area that overlooks the hill.
