点评:Not quite the same as my first visit which was quite exceptional. This visit I stayed elsewhere but did go back for a couple of lunches. Despite being called Caribbean kitchen offering modern Caribbean cuisine not quite sure it makes the grade. The food we ordered was lovely but not what I would describe as typically Caribbean modern or otherwise. The lunch menu is small wry it few options but it would be so much nicer if there were more typically Caribbean foods. Bussup shut made with a dasheen flour which is usually much lighter than the norm, perhaps a callaloo soup or some other local soup offering, rotis with chicken or fish which would make it far more authentic. It was sad to hear that Porridge is no longer there as he was wonderful when I last stayed there. Presumably new management is equally a as good. Kitchen and restaurant staff were absolutely lovely, as are the majority of the people in Castara!
