点评:We thought we'd eat out for a change at Christmas and booked into Le M with a small group of friends for Christmas lunch. The restaurant doesn't look too exciting from the outside but please don't let that put you off as the interior is warm and inviting with tables well spaced and complemented with comfortable chairs.
The staff had decorated all the tables and greeted us with warm smiles and an obvious pleasure in looking after us.
The food was excellent, with a good choice across all the courses, 3 courses and good wine for a little over 50 euros. I chose half a dozen oysters as my starter, followed by a wonderfully cooked fillet of turbot in champagne sauce, the biggest fillet of turbot I've ever had. We all went for the creme brulee, 3 individual pots with different flavours. This was fine French cooking but all served in a very relaxed atmosphere.
The wine card was extensive but sensibly priced.
The front of house clearly know their job, they were attentive at all times without being over fussy and the whole meal was paced just right with everyone receiving their dishes at the same time. It was very pleasant to have all courses served at just the right pace, not too quick or slow, which made for a memorable Christmas lunch.
