Great family friendly hotel

点评：I stayed here for a week with my partner and our 8 month old baby.
We had a fantastic time! We had a river view room, and I think our balcony faced the quietest part of the hotel which was great. It was very peaceful out there watching the boats go up and down the river. We didn’t hear any noise at night and had amazing nights sleep!
There’s entertainment on every night at the main bar, but there’s also a quieter bar (Chloe’s bar) which was great for us if the baby was asleep. There’s lots of pools to choose from and we went to the beach a few times and it was great to have the choice of the sea or the pool.
There were just a few things that stopped me from giving it 5 stars. There was a lack of shade around the pools. I saw a lot of people dragging beds under trees out on the grass just to find some shade. There was one day when we had an umbrella at the pool, and another guest pulled his bed flush against mine to get under the shade. I had to crawl on and off the bottom of the bed and it was very uncomfortable.
The queues for everything can be a bit of a pain. We only managed to get pizza at the beach once because the wait was always so long, we queued for about 20 minutes the day we did get it. The queues at the beach bars were always pretty bad too. The staff work so hard and go as quick as they can, I think the hotel might just need some more bars and food options for a hotel of this size.
Overall I would definitely go back. There’s a great arcade and you can hire little cars for the kids to drive around on so I can see us taking a return trip when our baby is older as there seemed to be lots for kids to do! It’s a great family friendly hotel.
