The Sound of Music Trail的点评
点评：We took the train from Salzburg to Werfen which costs about €20 return per person. Trains are very frequent and journey takes about 45 mins. The village is about a 15 min easy walk from the train station. Beautiful village. We located the Sound of Music trail. It begins with a stair case and then you weave through some houses before arriving at a woodland sort of trail. As you go up the incline, there are clear markers telling you the direction. Very easy to navigate. You are climbing up a mountain so if you are a little unfit just take it at your pace. The route is about a 1 hour hike (that is going slow). As you climb, there are a few Sound of Music activities to keep motivation going! The field is utterly stunning and worth the hike.
There are no toilets and no cafe at the top so take food and drink with you. It is possible to drive and park there for the lazy or those time bound! The terrain isn't bad, but if you are not keen on outdoors you can use the tarmac road to walk up.
