Good beach hotel.
高级海滩酒店的点评
点评：Friendly welcome at check in and rooms were ready early. Good size room but small bathroom with shower over bath. If I had realise earlier that some rooms had walk in shower and no bath I would have asked to move. Balcony looking out to road but no chairs. Large bottle of water in room was welcome. We went into lunch and it was all we had feared all inclusive would mean. People everywhere with plates piled high and nowhere to sit. Staff just watched the chaos and gave no direction. We later discovered that if you didn't mind carrying your plate of food down some steps there were tables in more pleasant areas and we never ate in the buffet room again. There was always a good selection of dishes but food was often not very warm. All inclusive drinks only served in two outdoor bars but once you had your drinks no one seemed to mind where you sat to drink them. Receiving what appeared to be half a pint of white wine in a plastic tumbler was a bit of a shock at first but I soon got used to it. Hotel is in good beach front location, large beach with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. However it suffered from usual problem of people putting towels on the beds and not removing them when leaving. There is a promenade between the hotels and the beach if you want a walk. It seemed to go for miles in each direction. There are some souvenir stalls, beach shops, bars etc. The town of Durres is worth visiting and can be reached by taxi. I understand there is also a bus but we didn't try it. The hotel was a good place for a relaxing couple of days.
