点评：I Live in the Local area and where I Live is Fine. Walton from when I was a youngster was a vibrant little town, now its a dying place full of Charity Plenty of Take Away food outlets who do not accept credit card payments, only cash ( perhaps the Tax Man should pay a call ) Pub that are too expensive for even the Locals to Drink in, Every Publican blames the cost on the Pubco's saying rent and beer prices are high, I believe after speaking with friends who are in the trade that the local Pubs are just pure money grabbers, they all got paid by the Government during Covid, but that old Chestnut raises its head frequently. Shopping in the town is very poor, Public transport is an utter disgrace, buses Cancelled frequently, The Bus company very rarely answers the phone. Pensioners rely on buses to get about and I believe they out up with the bad service as it is all they have got. Taxis are expensive and short on supply, hence the high fares and with no bus service to speak of they have a captive market. All in All Walton is poor. Revved Up Cafe is a good place for a Cuppa and Jojos Friendly and welcoming, Bartles is a good one stop shop for most household goods, nice people, Whites, never tried it, but looking at prices will not, cheaper in Poplar, London to have a decent Dnner - Maureens... Good Bakers in town, but again, Cash only !!! Wonder why ? Tesco and the Co-op have a captive market audience and both expensive, choice of Barbers - all the delights of Turkey.
