点评：We have frequently visited this cafe over the years and had their take aways with no complaints, however this was not the case today. Aware it had changed hands, but just as keen to visit, as the food has always been so good and excellent value for money, we found a change. The cafe was clean and the staff welcoming. The food however.....
My partner chose sausage and mash which the menu said came with onion gravy, Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables. It did not. No gravy . No seasonal veg and no Yorkshire pudding. The meal looked uninviting. When the staff member was asked about this, he was unclear as to what was offered on the menu. He did apologize
My requested cheese and onion Panini came as a white sliced bread toastie, which was so thin, there was no sense of filling in it. It felt like eating one slice of toast. In contrast the home made chips were perfectly cooked.
I hardly ever post reviews, but felt really disappointed in what use to be our go to cafe for a tasty snack/meal
