点评:Unfortunately, this is one of the poorest-performing McDonald’s branches I’ve experienced — not just in Liverpool, but potentially nationwide.
Whether ordering inside or via the drive-thru, the wait times are consistently long. On every visit, I’ve waited at least 15 minutes for food. Most recently, I popped in just to grab two hash browns and ended up waiting 20 minutes. I eventually had to stop a staff member delivering someone else’s order and ask her directly for mine.
Since the refurbishment, the restaurant feels severely understaffed. Much of the team seem hidden away behind the newly installed wall partitions, and there's a noticeable lack of presence on the floor. Despite the sleek new look, the service has significantly declined.
It's astonishing how many 1-star reviews this location has received — both here and on Google. It begs the question: how has McDonald’s management not stepped in to address what’s clearly an ongoing issue?
To be fair, some staff members are polite and clearly doing their best under pressure. I genuinely sympathise with them, as they’re left to deal with frustrated customers facing long delays.
There are often four or five cars parked up outside, blocking the drive-thru while waiting for their food — a regular sight that speaks volumes about the efficiency (or lack thereof).
At this point, you’d likely be quicker cooking the meal yourself — or, if you're local, catching a bus to Huyton, eating inside that branch, and getting the bus back to Prescot. It’s that bad.
