点评:As a regular visitor to the Lighthouse and a resident in Hoylake I was alarmed to experience what can only be described as the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Having chosen a table and selected my meal I pointed out my table which the assistant (duty manager) described as dirty. I asked that it be cleaned only to be told "when I can" in a most confrontational tone. I asked that it be done at least before the food arrived. I was told that as there were other tables in the crowded area of the restaurant there was no guarantee. The tone was such that I was prompted to ask why she would speak to a customer in such a confrontational manner. I was then asked "Do you want this order or not?" When I said I did but also wanted the table clearing before eating I was told that the order was being shut down, with a rejoined of "happy Christmas". The manager was still talking loudly as I left the restaurant i have patronised these last seven years. I won't be returning. Happy Christmas indeed!
