点评:Following on from their long-established restaurant in Palmers Green, Vrisaki have now opened a small, essentially takeaway branch in Potters Bar, within easy reach of the M25. What can I say? I used to live around the corner from their Palmers Green eaterie and it's almost as if they're stalking me as I now live round the corner from the new branch. But I welcome this kind of stalking because Vrisaki has always prided itself on offering a slightly better quality standard of Greek food even if it is your run-of-the-mill kebabs.
I'd say that their sheftalia are really exceptional. But so too are their non-kebab items such as the dolmades - and their taramasalata are a class apart from the supermarket versions. You do certainly pay a little premium for their food but when you sample the freshness and tenderness of the items, you will appreciate it. I particularly like their salad boxes. I feel that the pita breads are a little passe these days. I would, however, prefer the white rice to what they offer. Perhaps you can't have everything.
By the way, theyre very flexible on what you want. Doners are for Fridays and Saturdays only I believe but the man in the ponytail will let you mix and match kebabs to a limit.
