The Bell Inn的点评
点评：We revisited the Bell on our way to Glastonbury for a bite to eat, we both had an exceptional ham and cheese Ploughman,s and a pint of very well kept ale, it was a lovely sunny day so we sat in the beer garden. It was a breath of fresh air to see a traditional pub as it should be, children playing , dog friendly and locals of all ages having a drink and a laugh. We were also very impressed to see a couple of elderly patrons with what appeared to be their carers, at a guess, on a day out from a local home/ institution for people with mental health difficulties, being welcomed , chatted to and made to feel very welcome and not treated any differently than the rest, despite the occasional outbursts of somewhat colourful language. Everyone, staff included made our day memorable and we will most certainly return on our way home and hope the garden gang are also around to add to our cheer prior to a very long drive home, Top marks to Mr Hitchcock and his happy team for running a country pub as it should be.
