点评：Stayed overnight for 2 nights when in Wells at a party. It appeared that all staff were local, charming and thoroughly engaged in their jobs.
From the moment I arrived tp the moment I left I felt valued and looked after. I was welcomed very efficiently and was offered (and given) help with my luggage by the manger James. A 24 hour welcome was provided by Bob and his dog Dylan (yes really) so late night arrival was faultless.
Breakfast was delicious and charming. Food - dinner on my first night - was excellent.
All in all it's just a shame that I am unlikely to be a regular because I live overseas - but if all hotels in UK were as good as this they would lead the world in hospitality.
One (minor) gripe is that the chilled bottle of rose left in my room was not, as I thought, a free amenity but fully chargeable which was not made clear...watch out for this...apparently I ordered it as part of the booking...
