The Lamb At Angmering的点评
点评：We booked a table with friends at the Lamb, Rustington as they had various offers available.
After looking through the menus at the table we ordered our food from the bar.
One of the starters was Loaded Nachos” but as our friend said they were far from loaded – managing just about to find some cheese so not as described on the menu – far from loaded!
3 of of us had the Hunters Chicken as the main course. 2 were sent back as the chicken inside/under the sauce was not hot – the other 1 was also not very hot but not sent back. Obviously with 2 meals returned this meant 2 of us ate our dinner whilst the other 2 waited for their food to come back which they said was hotter. On paying the bill I was overcharged as on asking for the receipt I was charged for another table. Whist I realise in restaurants it is normal to be shown the bill before paying here we ordered at the bar but the receipt had to be asked for. Although the error was corrected it took sometime for the bar person to sort this out on the till and in the end I was given a credit against the overcharged bill and paid against the correct bill. Clearly I will be checking my statement! Overall the Lamb I would describe as ok but we were put off by the poorly cooked food and overcharge and we know of better establishments to have dinner at in future so unlikely to return to the Lamb.
