The Yard的点评
点评：We spotted the Yard the previous evening whilst wandering around Appledore and really liked the look of the place and the interesting menu. In the pub that evening, people on the next table had been there for dinner and recommended it, so we booked a table online.
First impressions on entering were very good, we were quickly shown our table and drinks orders taken.
Where to start? The staff are excellent - polite, efficient and informed - and our food arrived quickly after ordering.
The ribs are ridiculously good, very probably the best either of us have tasted, and the tempura fish in spicy Thai curry peanut sauce was off the dial, to mention but two if the six dishes we chose from the fabulous menu. The Yippee IPA, brewed locally for The Yard, is delicious, and the guidance from our waitress that there was sediment in the bottle typified the attentive but unobtrusive service throughout the evening.
Go. Eat all the things.. You will not be disappointed, including by the surprisingly modest bill.
