Eco Tatry Hotel的点评
点评：It’s a nice hotel but quite overpriced. I feel like it’s been heavily greenwashed, not sure why they claim to be more ‘eco’ than other hotels. They sell water and drinks in plastic bottles, line their bins with plastic bags, have plastic flower decorations all over the hotel and the only recycling bins are outside the hotel, near parking.
Spa was nice and it was good that you had to book it in advance, in that way you could have it only for you (there were 3 of us), as they allow maximum 4 people at a time. There were two saunas and a jacuzzi but there was no water in the spa, so you had to buy water in plastic bottles of course. Also guests had to pay extra for spa. It felt a bit like Ryanair to be honest!
Breakfast was okay, but I didn’t like that they cut fruit for you, including taking the skin off a banana and slicing it, it creates so much waste but for some reason they don’t want you to take fruit away - they actually refused to give me a banana in the skin, when I didn’t fancy breakfast.
Customer service was average. Didn’t feel like they wanted to spoil their guests, but had the attitude that you should be grateful to be there. I wanted to amend my booking and the manageress (probably the owner) said she would think about my request, asked me to call her back in 2 hours and then told me lies to support her story and not to amend my booking (such as that the tax office was notified the moment I paid for my booking so she can’t make any refunds).
Overall, it was okay but wouldn’t stay there again.
