Unique medicinal mud baths next to a busy beach resort.

点评：This place offers effective mud bath treatment of a number of ailments, notably arthritis and skin disorders. There are at least two established spas on the lake which offer facilities including changing rooms and showers. The one we visited, in Eforie Nord, Bai Reci, is somewhat rundown but at the price it is a bargain. As best I can determine this only offers the mud treatment, not other spa treatments. There are nearby hotels with a wide range of spa facilities.
Romanians of all income levels use Back Reci, and some clearly have serious mobility issues which the process helps alleviate.
This is not for back packers, and you stay hydrated, but should avoid alcohol, while doing the treatment. Allow at least two hours, to follow the recommended cycle of hot and cold.
I was very sceptical about the effectiveness but I will definitely come again when next in Romania.
